Adding a property

A 4-step wizard — property type, rental type, address and basic information.

You add a new property on the Properties page, or from anywhere via “+ Add” in the header. A 4-step wizard opens — the flow is the same either way.

Properties › + Add property
1
1. Property type
Pick one of 4 categories: Apartment (one flat in an apartment building), House or cottage (house, villa, cottage or cabin), Building or complex (you own the whole building with multiple units), or Other specific type (you own only part of a building or a specific space). For Building/complex and Other you also pick a sub-type (e.g. Tenement house, Office building, Storage, Garages, or Commercial space, Storage unit, Parking spot, Other).

2. Rental type
Only Long-term rental is active for now (a lease of 1 year or more). Short-term rental, Mixed and Investment without renting are marked “Coming soon” in the wizard and can't be selected.
3
3. Address
Street and number and City are required; you can also fill in Region and ZIP. Country is fixed to Czech Republic.
4
4. Information
Property name is auto-filled from the street and city (editable), and for any type other than Building/complex you also enter the Unit number.

After saving you see a confirmation screen. For a Building or complex it offers “Add unit”, for other types “Add lease” — “Go to property detail” is always available too.

Heads up
The Free plan has a limited number of units. Above the limit, instead of the form you get a Najato Pro upsell (a Free/Pro comparison and card payment via Stripe) — only after activating, or clicking “Stay on Free”, do you continue into the wizard.
Tip
Saving the property is just the start — for a Building/complex you still add units, for other types you go straight to a lease. Every form field is covered in detail in Property information.
