Tenants

How to manage the tenant list, what the form asks for, and why only a tenant without a lease can be deleted.

A tenant is a separate record from leases — it has its own section in the left menu. Over time, one tenant can be linked to one or more leases.

Tenants

You add a tenant with the “+ New tenant” button; the form changes depending on the chosen type:

  • Individual — first and last name, date of birth, birth number (rodné číslo), permanent address, e-mail, phone, bank account (CZ/SK/IBAN), and any number of identity documents (passport, ID card, driving licence, or residence permit — with number, issuing country, and validity).
  • Business — company name, business ID, tax ID, registered address, contact person's first and last name, e-mail, phone, bank account.

Each row in the list shows where the tenant lives (per their active lease), until when the lease runs, and its status — Active lease, Ended lease, or No lease. You can filter by type and status and search full-text. The same pre-filled form is used to edit a tenant (row actions).

Heads up
Deleting is blocked while the tenant has any lease — the app shows “Cannot delete tenant — has linked leases.” End or delete the lease first.
Tip
You don't need to create a tenant in advance — the lease wizard lets you add one right in the “Tenant” step.
